The number of practice minutes varies depending on the student and their goals. Daily practice is essential as muscles require repetition every 24-hour period to master a skill or a song. Younger beginner students may start with 15-20 minutes of daily practice and work up to 1 hour as they grow older and advance. The amount of practice time is something that you will discuss with your private instructor often as the student's needs and goals change.
